Welcome to the homepage of the South San Joaquin Irrigation District.
In 1909, the District was established to provide a reliable and economical source of irrigation water for the agricultural areas surrounding Escalon, Ripon, and Manteca. Since then, we have expanded into providing domestic water service to South San Joaquin County and are presently moving towards providing electric service as well. Overview2008 Annual Revenue is budgeted at $29,593,300. Operations and Maintenance Budget for 2008 is $18,621,397. An additional $20,952,862 is earmarked for various capital improvements. The District covers approximately 72,000 acres. An elected Board of Directors is responsible for managing and conducting the
business and affairs of the District. The current
board members are:
President of the Board, Dale Kuil (Div 4), Bob Schulz (Div 1), Dave Kamper (Div
3),Ralph Roos (Div. 2) and John Holbrook (Div. 5). Click here to see
